I've read that some folks submerge their sculptures in a pan of boiling water. just a thought. ~GaryGary Dombrowskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09595511328277618342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6350712044163545888.post-62019554877765581002010-02-08T05:28:51.629+08:002010-02-08T05:28:51.629+08:00Calvin

The right hand might work better bent back at the top of the wrist from the weight/feel of the weapon. The left hand is fine scale wise, just seems to be disappearing into the blouse of the sleeve a bit. The line of the gray on the hand may be tricking the eye of Andreas. I look forward to seeing your progress on painting.Jim Johnstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16438301280047530384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6350712044163545888.post-4318944144169458842010-02-08T00:42:36.736+08:002010-02-08T00:42:36.736+08:00Hey calvin, nice sculpt so far, will you bulk up the...Hey calvin, nice sculpt so far, will you bulk up the hand resting on the leg?The hand look too small I think.

I have a heat gun now too but it does not work good with fimo. How long do you bake it and from which distance?

I plan to buy ss Firm,is this stuff compatible with the heat gun?

best regards and thanks,

AndreasAndreashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00536446019747296492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6350712044163545888.post-73971099962402063882010-02-07T22:19:12.835+08:002010-02-07T22:19:12.835+08:00Hi Calvin,

How do you manage not to damage the still soft parts when posing for example the arms? Do work in thin layers of putty or do you first add the volume and then the details?

Best wishes
MarkAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
