Alpine Miniatures - Alamo Scouts, US 6th Army, 1944-45

I'm now working on another WW2 American topic, this time from the Pacific Theatre of operations. It's a 1/16 scale figure designed by John Rosengrant that depicts an Alamo Scout from the US 6th Army, which was the forerunner of the US Special Forces of today.

The head is painted with colors from AK11621  FLESH AND SKIN COLORS (THE ORIGINAL SELECTION).

The slow and grueling process of painting the "Duck Hunter" camouflage pattern.

Cheers,

Calvin

Looks amazing so far.
I had to keep looking at because it actually looks like a painting/illustration on a canvas.
There’s such a high level in the use of color, it doesn’t look like a miniature anymore but an actual painting.
