This is a 1/35 scale figure from H3 Model which I could not resist painting this weekend. Surprisingly the clean up was not as complex and it does paint up rather well with the AK Gen 3 acrylics.

Royal Model - Waffen SS Tank Crew 1944-45

All done for the box art of this figure. 

It was brought to my attention that the Lucky Strikes cigarettes in the green packaging ceased production in 1942 and therefore it would be more probable to depict the cigarettes in the white packaging for a 1944/45 timeline.

A Line Up from my Personal Collection

Just thought I would share two thematic line-up of 1/35 scale figures from my personal collection.

The first is a selection of World War Two US Army figures. All are injection molded plastic with some minor conversions and enhancements to the details. With the exception of the photographer from AK Interactive on the extreme left, the rest are from Tamiya.

This assortment of WW2 German figures consist of variations based on Tamiya's German Soldiers at Rest. It is an  old kit dating back to 1984 and despite the age it still manages to hold up pretty well.

Wrapping Things Up For The Box Art.....Literally!

Here is a preview of the box art  I recently completed for Royal Model. It is a very nice scene that would compliment well with either WW2 US G.I.s or Germans during the opening days of  Operation "Wacht Am Rhein".
