FineMolds 1/12? scale WW2 GI Caricature

Finally, the painting has made some progress. At this point, I would estimate that it is roughly 80% complete. I made the decision to portray this soldier from the Italian campaign's First Special Service Force. On a flat sheet of glass, the insignias are modelled with epoxy putty. While the epoxy putty is still flexible, they are coated with acrylic paint. As it started to set, I gently used PVA glue to affix it to the figurine after scraping it off the glass. The swivels on the rifle stock are fashioned from 0.3mm solder wire using the same construction method.

Cheers,

Calvin

Hello Calvin,
That is turning out to become a very unique looking character.
Great to see your progress on this one.

One question about your photography by wich you present your models, I am always struggling with my photography.
Could you share some tips or explanation for improvement?

Thanks and regards,
Robert Jan
