Alte Kampfer - Close up

o

Here's a close-up of the figure and it's only now that I discovered that the nose is a little dinged up @:$$£%@!!!!!

I've also removed the arms so as to facilitate the modelling of the tunic.

this one looks great as well Mr.Tan. Will this and the other one be part of a vignette or will they be stand alone?
I'm considering buying some super sculpey firm, would you recommend it?
Can't wait to see more pics
Thanks

Hi James,

thank for the kind words. This figure will be a stand alone as it was intended to be a test for this new clay which by the way I'm enjoying a lot :)
I would recommend this Kato Polyclay instead of the Super Sculpey Firm as it's easier to work for such a small scale. I would however still rely on the SSF for larger scale works.

this is incredible for just test, my first attempt at sculpting was nothing compared to this. I will try and look for some Kato at my local art store and if not I'll order some, just out of interest do you change your sculpting method or tools when working with polymer clay?
Thanks for your reply
